Eilen illalla oli mun läksiäiset. Olin suunnitellu niitä torstaille, mutta Washington weather päätti puuttua peliin ja jouduin siirtämään niitä perjantaille. Oli kyllä hyvä valinta, koska meille sattu täydellinen sää. Ainut vaan, että muutama mulle tosi tärkee ihminen ei päässy tulemaan päivän vaihdoksen takia. Onneks on vielä yks päivä aikaa sanoa hyvästit.
Mun ilta oli täydellinen! Täydellinen. Tuntu et hymyilin kokoajan, vaik se oliki semmosta haikeeta hymyä. Jossain mielen perukoilla pieni ääni muistutti, etten tuu näkemään näitä ihmisiä enää. Olin silti ilonen siitä, että vaikka yhdessä vaiheessa vuotta tuntu etten oo saanu yhtäkään hyvää ystävää, tajusin et oon ollu väärässä. Oon saanut monta ystävää ja paljon kavereita. Tuun yrittämään kaikkeni, että voisin pysyä yhteydessä ihmisiin täällä. Mun täytyy tulla takasin!

Last night I had my Going Away Party. I had planned it for Thursday but because of the Washington Weather (rain is one thing I'm not going to miss) I had to reschedule it for Friday. It was a good choice because we got an amazing weather. It was warm and the sun was shining. The only bad thing was that not everyone could make it after the date change. Luckily I have one more day to say goodbye.
My night was perfect! Perfect. I was smiling all the time. Even though it was a bittersweet smile. Somewhere inside my head a little voice reminded me that this is the last time I see these people. Anyhow I was super happy because I realized that my worries about not making any good friends were totally unnecessary; I have made many great friends! I will try my best to stay connected with them. And I have to have to have to come back!
