Nopee kertaus mun pääsiäisestä. Mun perhe nyt ei oo mitenkää super uskonnollinen, mut meijän oli silti tarkotus mennä pääsiäissunnuntaina kirkkoon. No se kaatu siihen et nukuttiin myöhään ja päivällä oli niin hieno sää, et mun vanhemmat halus tehä pihatöitä. Meille oli tulossa vieraita illaks, joten pihan piti näyttää siistiltä! Syötiin illallinen ulkona yhdessä perhetuttujen kanssa, koska aurinko paisto ja vielä kuuden aikaan oli 20 astetta lämmintä. Illallisen jälkeen oli vuorossa Easter egg hunt! Mä en ollu ikinä tehny sitä aikasemmin, joten kai nyt oli pakko kokeilla! Hehheh. Syötiin paljon suklaata ja muita herkkuja. Ruokaa oli, kuten aina ku perheet kokoontuu yhteen, paljon, ja se oli tosi hyvää! Täällä on muuten tapana, että jokainen perhe, joka saapuu paikalle, tuo ruokaa tai juotavaa. Tän takii meille jää aina ihan sikana ylimäärästä. Nytki jääkapissa ruokaa koko viikolle!
Quick review of my American Easter. My family is not super religious but we were still supposed to go to church on Sunday morning. Well, we slept in and because the weather outside was amazing my parents wanted us to do yard work and clean for the night. We had family friend coming over for a dinner so the yard had to look good! The weather was really nice, sun was shining and it was 65 degrees till late in the evening, that's why we ate dinner outside. After the dinner we had an Easter Egg hunt! I had never done that before so it was a mandatory thing to do. Hehheh. We ate a lot of chocolate and other sweets. One difference between get together here and in Finland is that here every family brings something. So we always end up with way too much food. But it sure is good! And the good news is that we have leftovers for the rest of the week.
