Eka viikko loman jälkeen meni vielä nopeemmin ku viikot yleensä. Ei mikää huonompi juttu, koska mun viikonloppu oli aivan mahtava. Mun kaveri Lexie suunnitteli synttärit meijän kaverille Joshualle ja niinpä mä sit lauantaina päivällä raahauduin sen luokse. Oltii hetken aikaa Lexiellä ennen ku lähettiin autokierrokselle hakemaan kaikki muut. Varmaan ainut syy miks ei kannata olla kaveri vaihto-oppilaiden kanssa on se et meillä ei oo autoo, joten jos haluu nähä nii se tarkottaa et toinen osapuoli on aina se kuski. No me käytiin nappaamassa Gaby ja Joshua Tacomasta kyytiin, ja sen jälkeen vielä Frederik tosta vähän lähempää. Koko reissussa meni varma semmonen kaks tuntia ku pysähdyttiin paikkoihin. Lopulta päästii takas Lexielle, jossa sen vanhemmat odotteli meijän kaverin Wolfin ja ruuan kanssa. Kaikki rynnättiin suoraan pöytään ja ahdetaan itsemme täyteen niitä ihania ruokia. Lexien vanhemmat oli valmistanu tosi hyvän illallisen! Ruuan jälkeen mentiin kaikki keittiöön hengaamaan ja onnistuttiin tanssimaan salsaa. Meillä oli super hauskaa ku yritettiin päihittää Lexien vanhemmat tanssissa. Kaikilla oli omat vähä oudot moveit, mut hauskaa oli! Pian ruvettiin väsäämään kokoon meijän kakkua. Tai no oikeestaan vaa lisättiin kananmunat ja maito siihen valmis taikinaan ja laitettiin kakku uuniin. Siit tuli kyl just hyvä ja koristeltiin se Dolce de Lechellä, joka on Chileläinen caramel spread. Kakust tuli tosi hyvä, ja aamuun mennessä se oli kadonnu kokonaan. Meijän illan vietto jatku vaan hengailulla ja myöhemmin kauhuleffalla. Leffan jälkeen (melkeen) kaikki simahti heti. Ne, jotka tuntee mua, tietää et mä tarviin täydelliset olosuhteet et saan nukuttua; oikee lämpötila, oikee sänky, ei valoja, hiljaisuus ja sen takii ei meinannu uni tulla. Heken jälkeen kyllästyin ja raahauduin yläkertaan Lexien sänkyyn. Pian kuulin askeleita ja sain Gabystä seuraa, ku sillä oli sama ongelma. No meitä väsytti, mutta uni ei meinannu tulla, joten päätettiin pitää piknik siellä Lexien sängyssä kello 4 aamulla. Käytiin hakemassa alakerrasta aamiaismuffinseja ja appelsiinimehua, ja juteltiin siihen asti et molempia rupes nukuttamaan ihan kunnolla. Aamulla herättiin siihen et kaikki hyppäs meijän sänkyy. Keräännyttiin taas pikkuhiljaa keittiöön (musta tuntuu et se on joku virallinen hengaus paikka täällä) ja syötiin aamupalaa (eli lisää muffinseja) ja juteltiin niitä näitä. Siinähän se aika kulu ennen ku tuli aika lähtee kotiin.

The first week after the break went by even faster than normal weeks. Not a bad thing at all, since my weekend was one of the best ones in here. My friend Lexie had planned a get together to celebrate our friend's, Joshua's, birthday. I met Lexie at her house on Saturday and we started a pick-up-trip around Tacoma and Gig Harbor. That's probably the only minus of being friends with exchange students; we can't drive and have to relay on other people, and this time Lexie. After picking everyone up we got to Lexie's house and found an amazing and delicious dinner waiting for us. Lexie's parents had prepared ribs, chicken and beans. I hadn't eaten that much in a long long time. After the dinner, even though we were all in a point when even moving is hard, we started to dance Salsa. In the kitchen. We had a great time and everyone was smiling and trying to dance better than Lexie's parents. When we had digested the food it was time to bake the cake (open one of the Betty Crocker cake mixes) and decorate it with Dolce de Leche. After a little cake crisis it turned out just fine! Actually we ate the whole cake. Rest of the evening and night were just chillin, talking, and watching a horror movie. After the movie (almost) everyone fell asleep on the couches and floor. No matter how hard I tried I couldn't go to sleep. You, that know me well, know that I can't sleep if I don't have perfect circumstances; no lights, no sounds, comfortable bed, just the right temperature, so I decided to go upstairs and sleep in Lexie's bed. Not long after I got there Gaby joined in. She couldn't sleep either. So it was 4 in the morning and we decided to have a picnic in Lexie's bed. We had some muffins, orange juice, and good conversations. In the morning we woke up when everyone jumped into the bed. We hung out there for a while and then ate breakfast and chilled in the kitchen talking with Lexie's mom.
That was probably one of the greatest nights in Gig Harbor!
